Your article was well thought out. After having almost died trying to walk in obedience to Christ's call on my life I can add a couple points to your article.
Those trapped in the pedestal paradigm also expect others who are called to full time ministry to not need help. I have heard some of the most ridiculous things from supposedly Jesus loving Christians. These include:
"If you were called you would be blessed.", "Your not suppose to be trying to make money, your suppose to just do it for Jesus.", "Your just trying to keep from going out and getting work.", "if a man does not work neither shall he eat.", "You can't count on me because I'm human.".
When I realized my health had deteriorated to the point that I was dieing, I had but one question: "Lord, why would they not help me do your will?" After five hours with that question constantly in my mind the Holy Spirit reminded me of something Jesus said: "If you love me keep my commandments." That was when I knew the answer to my question, the reason they would not help me is because they did not love Jesus to keep His commandment: "As you did it unto the least of these my brethren, you did it unto me.", "As you did it not to the least of these my brethren, you did it not unto me."
After two years of homelessness, and not enough food to eat, I suffered a myocardial infarction, brought about by water on the heart that developed due to a bacterial infection. Surgery corrected that condition in 4/07,...

Seems that I know someone who has a disorder, and I went to another church, weather he is willing to admit he has a psychological problem is the first step but he has beaviour blindness.

He also attacks me by use of people he needs help.
